Why does a made-to-measure shirt cost more than off-the-rack?

An off-the-rack shirt is produced in the thousands using a basic template (sizes S/M/L/XL). A made-to-measure shirt requires: complete precise measurements (neck circumference, arm length, shoulder width, etc.), pattern adjustment to your body type, precision laser cutting, fitting with adjustments, refined finishes. You pay for a perfect collar fit (no gaping collar), exact sleeve length, adapted armhole. A poorly fitting off-the-rack shirt at 100EUR looks cheap. A perfectly fitted made-to-measure shirt at 180EUR looks premium.

How many shirts to order for optimal rotation?

For professional use: minimum 5 white shirts + 3 blue = 8 shirts for weekly rotation. Ideal: 10-12 shirts (5 white, 3 blue, 2-4 colours/patterns). With 10 shirts, each is worn twice per month = maximum lifespan. Bulk order (5+ shirts): 10% discount generally. Initial investment for 5 Essential range shirts: 900EUR (180EUR x 5). Lifespan 4 years = 225EUR/year = outstanding value.

Do white shirts cost less than patterned ones?

No difference in price between plain and patterned within the same fabric range. The price is determined by fabric quality (threads/cm, number of plies) not by colour or pattern. White Essential shirt = 180EUR. Blue stripe Essential shirt = 180EUR. White Prestige shirt = 280EUR. EXCEPTION: Rare exclusive fabrics (complex jacquard, special weaves) may carry a supplement of +30-50EUR, stated at the point of fabric selection.

Can you copy an existing shirt I like?

Yes, absolutely. Bring the shirt you like (even if worn). We analyse: measurements, collar style, cuff shape, length, cut, and adjust the base pattern from this shirt. 'Exact copy' service: +30EUR for detailed study. You can then modify details (different collar, French cuffs, etc.). An excellent option for reproducing a perfect vintage shirt or a foreign shirt unavailable in France.

Is there a discount for bulk orders?

Yes. Progressive discounts: 3 shirts: -5% on total. 5 shirts: -10% on total. 10+ shirts: -15% on total. For companies (20+ shirts for a team): corporate pricing on quote. Example: 5 Essential shirts = 810EUR instead of 900EUR (saving of 90EUR). Shirts can be different (fabrics, collars, styles) - discount applies to the overall quantity.

What happens if the shirt does not suit me after production?

The fitting upon collection prevents this issue. 60% of our clients leave directly with their perfectly fitting shirt. If adjustments are needed after delivery: complimentary standard alterations for 6 months (adjust collar, shorten sleeves, take in the waist). If the error is ours (incorrect measurement, production defect): complete complimentary reproduction. If change of taste or style on your part: we buy back unworn shirts at 50% of the price (resale stock). Satisfaction guaranteed.
