Terms and Conditions of Sale, Atelier Mesure

Terms and Conditions of Sale of Atelier Mesure, made-to-measure tailor in Paris. Made-to-measure suits in the boutique, gift cards, promotions and production times.

Terms and Conditions of Sale
Atelier Mesure

Article 1: Scope of application

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (the Terms) apply to all the services carried out by Atelier Mesure, including in particular the making of made-to-measure garments, alterations, and the sale of gift cards.

Every order implies the client’s full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms, to the exclusion of any other document or condition. No specific condition may prevail without the prior written agreement of Atelier Mesure.

Article 2: Nature of the services

Atelier Mesure offers exclusively garments and pieces made to measure, after a measurement session at the boutique and the client’s choice of fabrics, finishes and options.

No online sales are carried out to date. No shipping of suits or garments is offered: delivery takes place exclusively at the boutique.

Article 3: Quotes and orders

Every order is covered either by a written quote or by an oral approval at the boutique confirmed by a deposit or by payment in full.

Quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date they are issued.

The order becomes firm and final as soon as it is confirmed by the client and the deposit or the full payment is made.

Article 4: Prices

Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (TTC).

They take into account the fabric selected, the type of manufacture as well as the options and finishes chosen.

Atelier Mesure reserves the right to change its prices at any time, with no retroactive effect on orders already confirmed.

Article 5: Deposit and payment

Unless otherwise agreed, a minimum deposit of thirty per cent (30%) is required when the order is placed.

The balance is payable on delivery at the boutique.

The accepted means of payment are specified at the boutique.

Article 6: Production times

Production times are given for guidance only when the order is placed.

They may vary depending on the ateliers, the periods and production constraints.

A reasonable delay cannot justify cancellation of the order, nor give rise to compensation.

Article 7: Fittings and alterations

The price includes the fittings required to adjust the garment.

Alterations are included within the limits of normal made-to-measure use.

Any change requested subsequently by the client, unrelated to the original manufacture, may be subject to additional invoicing.

Article 8: Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Code de la consommation (French Consumer Code), products made to measure or personalised carry no right of withdrawal.

Every confirmed order is therefore firm and final.

Article 9: Gift cards

Atelier Mesure gift cards:

  • are valid for twelve (12) months from their date of issue;
  • may be used exclusively at the boutique;
  • are neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash;
  • cannot give rise to any change being given.

Where the amount of the gift card is exceeded, the difference is payable by the client.

Gift cards cannot be used after expiry, even partially.

Article 10: Promotions and special offers

Promotions and one-off offers are valid only during the period indicated.

They cannot be combined with one another, unless stated otherwise, and are not retroactive on orders already placed.

Promotions do not apply to gift cards, unless expressly indicated.

Article 11: Liability

Atelier Mesure cannot be held liable for improper use of the garment, for a change in the client’s body shape after delivery or for care that does not follow the recommendations provided.

Article 12: Personal data

The personal data collected is used solely within the framework of the client relationship and is never sold or passed on to third parties.

In accordance with the regulations in force, the client has a right of access to, rectification of and erasure of their data.

Article 13: Disputes and applicable law

These Terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority.

Failing that, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction of Atelier Mesure’s registered office.
