Introduction à la Chemise Sur Mesure

L'Art de la Chemise
Détails et savoir-faire artisanal
A made-to-measure shirt transforms the experience of wearing a suit. While your suit is cut to your exact measurements, it would be inconsistent to wear it with a standard shirt that gapes at the collar, pulls at the shoulders or bunches at the waist. A made-to-measure shirt guarantees perfect harmony.
Complete your three-piece suit, your business suit or your wedding suit with a made-to-measure shirt with a collar suited to your lapels. We create shirts coordinated with your suit: collar adjusted to your lapels, cuffs matched to your sleeves, perfect length under the jacket.
Perfect Fit
Over 20 measurements guarantee an impeccable fit: a collar that neither pinches nor gapes, shoulders without creases, a waist that is fitted without being tight. Absolute comfort.
Precision

Choisir le Bon Tissu

Des Tissus d'Exception
La base de toute chemise de qualité
The choice of fabric determines the appearance, comfort and durability of your made-to-measure shirt. To accompany a made-to-measure suit, favour fine fabrics that match the standards of your suit.
Popeline
The quintessential formal fabric. Tight, smooth weave, matt and elegant surface. Ideal with business and formal suits. Easy care.
Business
Twill
A distinctive diagonal weave. Thicker than popeline, more crease-resistant. Ideal for travel and intensive use with business suits.
Travel
Oxford
Visible texture with a basket weave. More relaxed, ideal for casual or smart casual suits. Durable and comfortable.
Casual
End-on-End
A very fine weave blending two thread colours. A subtle and elegant mottled effect. For formal suits and special occasions.
Refined
Linen or Linen-Cotton
Incomparable freshness for summer. Pure linen creases naturally; a linen-cotton blend reduces creasing. With summer or linen suits.
Summer
Royal Oxford
A premium version of Oxford with a finer weave. A bridge between relaxed Oxford and formal popeline. Highly versatile.

Les Types de Cols

Le Col Parfait
Chaque visage a son col idéal
The shirt collar must be coordinated with your jacket: a cutaway collar with peak lapels, a point collar with standard notch lapels. The height and spread of the collar also depend on the shape of your face.
Cutaway Collar
(Cutaway Collar)
Widely spread points (9-10cm). Modern and elegant, particularly with peak lapels. Ideal for wide ties or Windsor knots. Flatters elongated faces.
Modern
Point Collar
(Straight Point)
Medium-length points (6-8cm), standard spread. The classic versatile collar that works in all situations. Pairs with all lapel types.
Classic
Button-Down Collar
(Button-Down)
Points secured by small buttons. American casual-chic style. Ideal without a tie with an unstructured suit or blazer. Not appropriate with very formal suits.
Casual
Mandarin Collar
(Mandarin Collar)
A straight standing collar without points. A contemporary, minimalist look. Worn exclusively without a tie, with an unstructured jacket or alone.
Contemporary
Semi-Cutaway Collar
(Semi-Cutaway)
A compromise between point and cutaway (8cm spread). Versatile, works both formal and casual. An excellent choice when unsure.
Versatile
Wing Collar
(Wing Collar)
A ceremonial collar with points folded down. Exclusively for tuxedos and formal dress. Worn only with a bow tie.
Tuxedo
Les Types de Poignets

Le Détail du Poignet
L'élégance dans les détails
Cuffs should extend 1-1.5cm beyond the jacket sleeves. The choice of cuff influences the level of formality and ease of daily use.
Barrel Cuff
(Barrel Cuff)
One or two buttons, the cuff does not fold back. The most practical for everyday use. Can be adjusted with multiple buttons. Business standard.
Everyday
French Cuff
(French Cuff)
Double thickness that folds back, fastened with cufflinks. Very formal and elegant. Essential with a tuxedo, excellent with formal suits.
Formal
Convertible Cuff
(Convertible Cuff)
Can be fastened with buttons OR cufflinks. Maximum flexibility. One cuff for both business and formal occasions.
Flexible
Rounded Cuff
(Rounded Cuff)
Rounded corners instead of square. A softer, more relaxed feel. Ideal for casual shirts with less formal suits.
Relaxed
Neapolitan Cuff
(Napoli Cuff)
Distinctive Italian-style rounded cuff with a single, slightly offset button. Classic Neapolitan elegance. For dress shirts.
Italian
Gauntlet Cuff
(Gauntlet Cuff)
Triangular opening with a visible decorative button. A sophisticated and traditional detail. For formal shirts and exceptional suits.

Entretien de votre Chemise

Un entretien adapté pour une longévité maximale
Appropriate Washing
Wash at 30-40 degrees maximum, delicate cycle. Turn the shirt inside out to protect the exterior. Use a gentle detergent without bleaching agents. Separate light and dark colours.
Correct Drying
Air dry on a broad hanger. NEVER tumble-dry, as this damages fibres and causes shrinkage. Hang while still slightly damp to make ironing easier.
Expert Ironing
Medium temperature (150 degrees) on the reverse. Order: collar, cuffs, sleeves, back, front. Use steam. Collar and cuffs on the right side last. Keep the iron moving.
Optimal Storage
Hang on a suitable hanger (broad at the shoulders) in a well-aired space. Never stack. For travel, fold with card between the folds or use a garment cover.
Smart Rotation
Own a minimum of 5-7 shirts for weekly rotation. Never wear the same one two days running. Cotton needs 24 hours to recover its shape.
Professional Dry Cleaning
A maximum of 1-2 times per month to avoid wearing out the fibres. Favour an eco-friendly dry cleaner. For daily wear, home washing and steam ironing are sufficient.
Investing in Made-to-Measure Shirts
A made-to-measure shirt starts from EUR 140 in Italian popeline, 100% cotton, including consultation, measurements and first fitting. Compared with a ready-to-wear shirt at EUR 60 lasting 6-12 months, a made-to-measure shirt at EUR 180 lasting 5-7 years offers a perfect fit, premium fabrics and superior durability. Annual cost: EUR 26-36.
Exemple de calcul :
3 made-to-measure shirts at EUR 180 (EUR 540 total) worn twice a week for 5 years = EUR 1.04 per wear. 3 ready-to-wear shirts at EUR 60 replaced 5 times over 5 years = EUR 900 total = EUR 1.73 per wear. Savings + comfort + elegance.
Investing in a made-to-measure shirt is not only economical in the long term but also ecologically responsible by limiting textile overconsumption.
