The story
Born from an observation, carried by a conviction.
Ready-to-wear, limited to what the shop has in stock, has become impersonal: permanent discounts and approximate sizing have replaced advice, quality and the client relationship. Thanks to technology, made-to-measure now costs virtually no more than an equivalent garment off the rack.
The benefit for the client is clear: a fair, stable price all year round, an immense selection of fabrics, and the freedom to choose style and cut to one's taste, without ever worrying about size.
Gilles Masson, former owner of prestigious boutiques including an iconic address on Boulevard Saint-Germain, imagined Atelier Mesure: new technology at the service of the human touch.
