Choosing a first made-to-measure suit is a real step for anyone wanting to settle their own style. Faced with a great many choices, asking the right questions is what makes the difference between a garment that suits you and one that merely fits. Which cloths am I being offered?

How far can it be personalised?
A made-to-measure suit has to agree with how you live, not only with how you look. Once the cloth is settled, ask about the options: pocket styles, lining, buttons. Ask the tailor which choices suit your build rather than which are fashionable.
The other thing worth understanding is the making itself, and how long it takes. Ask about the stages and about the adjustments still possible at each one, so that nothing is settled before you have seen it.
Finally, it is sensible to talk about budget early. Understanding made-to-measure pricing helps you plan rather than discover.
How should the suit be looked after?
The second question that matters concerns care. A garment of this quality deserves particular attention. Ask about cleaning and storage: some cloths need specific handling, and knowing it from the start is what extends the life of the suit by years rather than seasons.
